The equivalent of the Christmas letter

You know those Christmas catchup letters some families send out? Consider this ours!
This has been a bit of a crazy year:

January/February: We worked on the house in the freezing cold. I did a lot of sweeping.
March: Hours upon hours of painting.
April: Moved in! (and went to New Orleans)
May: Tonnes of sewing of curtains. I had bruises on my knees from cutting fabric out on the floor!
June: Made furniture. Put on the finishing touches before Mom, Kathleen and Dorice visited. Umm, got engaged?!
July: Took the month off for visits from Ontario. Found that our new house can sleep up to 10 people, even without a guest room. Got deck finished enough for numerous barbecues.
August: Recovered from July, worked on deck. Finished craft room including amazing folding table! Now I don't have to cut out fabric on the floor!
September: Built stairs to deck, installed outdoor lighting (this was all Chris!). Painted outside of house!
October: Prepared for craft sale, used craft room!
November: Craft sale! Tried to make picture frames for numerous unframed posters and pictures, failed miserably, resulting in trip to emergency room.
December: Finished deck! Decorated Christmas tree! Updated blog!

Now you're caught up! I can't wait for everyone to visit here and see our house next year!
Oh, and of course some pictures:

The finished deck:

Our sad little tree:

Homemade decorations:

We blocked the "dog window" so now she has to peek around the tree to see outside!:

Comments:
Buggy! Love your update..you need to update more often...I don't see any pictures of you guys all dirty, which is really why I visit your blog in the first place..
